Today, we commemorate Union Pledge Day, a defining date in the UAE’s history. It marks the moment on 18 July 1971, when our Founding Father, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, and his fellow Rulers forged the union of the seven emirates by signing the foundational constitution of the United Arab Emirates.

This day is a time to reflect on our nation’s journey, drawing strength from our Founders' legacy and reaffirming our own commitment to the enduring spirit of unity.
