🚨 The Truth About the Transfer Portal 🚨

The NCAA transfer portal isn’t the all-powerful gatekeeper it’s made out to be. Here’s what athletes need to know ⬇️

✅ It’s optional. The portal is just a digital “free agent board” for schools’ convenience—not a requirement to switch.

✅ You’re still a student. Changing schools works just like it does for anyone else. No portal police are stopping you.

✅ It’s easy to bypass. Athletes can unenroll and reenroll at a new location without needing portal paperwork.

So why the hype? Schools utilize the portal to protect themselves from “tampering” claims and to maintain organized recruiting.

💡 Final takeaway: The portal can be a tool, but it’s not the only path. Smart, assertive athletes who know their rights have options. Don’t fall for the smoke and mirrors.
