“I feel a bit sore on the left side. The crash was fast, but it was not a big one. It was just how I entered into the gravel – that was the worst part. Luckily nothing is broken, just a muscle injury in the thumb, so we were able to go back on the bike. But tomorrow I will wake up a bit sore. After this kind of crash when you need to reset, doing two time attacks is not the best way to get back on the bike, but I actually felt pretty good. I feel quite okay on the bike. Let’s see what we can do tomorrow. My aim is to be on the first three rows.”
