Marcus Smart Rockets debut:

20 PTS, 5 REB, 4 AST, 1 BLK, 4 3PT, 7/13 FG

Amen, Tari, and Smart defensively will be a nightmare to go against for teams next year 🔐

Marcus Smart went OFF in his preseason debut with Houston during the NBA China Games, dropping 20 POINTS, 5 REBOUNDS, and 4 ASSISTS while shooting 7/13 from the field and 4/9 from three-point range! 😳 The former Defensive Player of the Year reminded everybody that he can still make a serious impact on both ends of the floor.

And the craziest part? Houston is getting this production for just $6.2 MILLION a year. 💰 Smart brings championship experience, toughness, defensive versatility, and leadership to a Rockets team already loaded with talent. Playing alongside Kevin Durant, Alperen Şengün, and Amen Thompson makes this addition even more dangerous.

If Marcus Smart can consistently knock down his outside shots while providing his usual elite defensive intensity, Houston might have landed one of the biggest bargains in the NBA. The Rockets are building something SPECIAL, and the rest of the Western Conference better be paying attention. 👀🏆
