KEVIN DURANT IS COMING FOR KOBE 😭🔥

When Kevin Durant was asked if he felt like he needed to drop a 60-point game, KD basically said he’s thinking WAY bigger: “Nah I think I need to score 33k then 34k then 35k. I count by the thousands.” That’s such a Durant answer 😂🐐

KD currently sits at 32,597 career points, just 1,046 points away from Kobe Bryant’s 33,643 for 4th on the NBA’s all-time scoring list. Durant has averaged roughly 1,810 total points per season over his career, so another healthy KD season could realistically have him flying past Kobe and entering the 34,000-point club. 🤯

And after Kobe? Kevin Durant would only have Karl Malone, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and LeBron James ahead of him. The Slim Reaper isn’t worried about one crazy scoring night anymore… he’s counting his buckets BY THE THOUSANDS. 🥶🎯 KD’s climb up NBA history is FAR from finished.
