The Palm House at London's Kew Gardens is a listed marvel: 16,000 panes of glass in a wrought-iron skeleton dating back to 1848. ⁣
⁣
But it needs renovating – which is not only expensive but fraught with risk for the hundreds of tropical species that call it home, giving pleasure to millions and revealing scientific secrets.⁣

CGTN's Iolo ap Dafydd reports from the Palm House. ⁣
