Sophia Lorey, Outreach Director for the California Family Council, held a news conference on Friday, October 9, to again call on the California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) to stop allowing trans athletes to participate in girls sports.

The news conference was held in front of the Renaissance LAX Hotel because that is where the CIF is meeting on Friday.

Lorey was joined by candidate for state attorney general Michael Gates and candidate for California State Superintendent Sonja Shaw.
