Big congratulations to ODU Biological Sciences master’s student Nicole Leach!

Nicole has been selected to the 2026 cohort of the prestigious Katherine S. McCarter Graduate Student Policy Award, a program of the Ecological Society of America (ESA). This national recognition highlights emerging leaders working at the intersection of science and policy.

We’re proud to see a Monarch making an impact beyond the lab and into the policy space. 👏
