I’ve spent years aggressively investing so work can become more and more optional. I hit Barista FIRE awhile ago (still need to post an update), but I’m still working toward full FIRE because my end goal is to never need to work again hehe

there are so many milestones between “I need this job” and “I never need to work again”!!!

*the 4% rule is a rule of thumb, not a guarantee, and taxes + benefits + your actual expenses obviously matter!! the $500K/$45K example is just to make the concept easy to visualize*
