Ben Macauley, Environment Artist for Infinity Ward brings to life levels through location imagery. Creating an environment is like crafting a character, it's the silent star of the game. Why is that wall crumbling? What's the story behind that crashed car? Every texture, prop, and placement is a deliberate choice contributing to the overarching game narrative. 

Not over saturating a space with story is key. I like to pick one spot in an area to create a narrative set piece which tells a story about the space. I’m always thinking about where dirt, rust, wear & tear resides in an environment and build from there.🔨
