Today, we say goodbye to a woman who changed the world forever 🤍

As women working in technology, we owe something to Margaret Hamilton.

Back in the 1960s, before “software engineering” was even a recognized term (one she is credited with coining), Margaret led the team at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology mit that developed the code that helped land Apollo 11 of nasa on the Moon.

And she did it while being a working mother. She brought her young daughter to the lab on nights and weekends.

Her story is a reminder to all of us who have ever questioned whether we truly belong in the world of technology.

Margaret reached for the stars and took us to the moon. 👩‍💻🌙🤍🚀
