We are incredibly proud to shine a spotlight on Jack Thomas, who was named United Soccer Coaches NAIA Player of the Year yesterday at the United Soccer Coaches Convention in Philadelphia.

After the remarkable season he had in the 806, it came as no surprise to anyone within our club that Jack would go on to achieve such an incredible accomplishment with LSU Shreveport. Throughout our 2025 season, he exemplified everything it means to be a Matador, setting the standard on and off the field and helping lead the club to its first-ever conference championship.

Jack’s electric play was a driving force behind our success, consistently stepping up in the biggest moments when we needed him most. He led the team in both goals and assists throughout the season, setting the tone offensively and delivering when it mattered most. Off the field, you will also not find a more humble footballer. Jack is a credit to his friends and family, carrying himself with the same class and professionalism that he shows on the pitch.

We are excited to have Jack back this summer and to see what else the future has in store for him.
