King Charles has written privately to Pope Leo after being diagnosed with lung cancer 🤍 Charles, 77, wrote a thoughtful letter of well-wishes to the Pontiff, 71, as he himself was diagnosed with cancer in 2024. The King shares a bond with the catholic leader, having met with him on multiple occasions and becoming the first British monarch to pray with a pope publicly since 1534. The pair continue to support each other, Charles standing alongside him as he begins his cancer journey.
