Claude’s cheapest model built a skateboarding game

Anthropic’s new Haiku 5.5 costs around 75% less to run than Haiku 4.5 on average, with big gains in coding and computer use.

To test it, a YouTuber asked it to build a skateboarding game from scratch. 

The first version took about 38 minutes, then it improved the scenery and details after his feedback. 

He pushed further with a 3D backyard pool party, dog jumping in the pool included. He reports it used just 1% of his weekly limit.

Not everything worked, though. One game kept freezing when a train arrived and needed several rounds of fixes.

One catch: the new tokenizer counts more tokens for the same text, so real savings depend on the task.
