It took this long because I would only do some of the things that are required, but not all of them. It was exactly why I could never get and stay sober. I half assed it. I half assed everything in my life.

What changed was my mindset - I wanted to get and stay sober so I did. I wanted to get in the best shape I’ve ever been in, so I did. I stopped lying to myself talking about what I was going to do and instead, I got up and finally did it, consistently!
