In my latest podcast, I speak with Eric Vezzoli, Director of Technology at Razer, about the convergence of AI, gaming, economics, haptics and the future of human-machine interaction.

With over 150 million unique users across its ecosystem, Razer is expanding beyond gaming hardware into AI-powered software, immersive experiences and developer technologies.

We explore how initiatives such as Razer Wyvrn and Razer Indie Lab are democratising access to advanced technologies, empowering independent developers and transforming the economics of game production.

“We started a specific effort which is called Razer Indie Lab which is only focused to bring and explain and democratize and help the indie community to have access to these tools that are usually reserved for advanced production.”

As Eric explains:

“Nobody will ever accept anymore a game with bugs at launch because that becomes whenever AI can help you to take that away the market expectations shift.”

The next generation of gaming will not simply be about better graphics or more powerful hardware. It will be about intelligence, creativity, accessibility and entirely new forms of human interaction.
