Phone interviews are eating half your sales recruiting time.

In a commission-based sales model, it can take 50 to 100 applications to get one rep into new hire orientation.

Out of 100 applicants, maybe 20 are worth screening. At 10 to 15 minutes each, that’s four to five hours on the phone.

Then the funnel keeps shrinking. Half move to one-on-ones. Half of those show. Two accept. One shows up to orientation.

That’s roughly 10 hours for one hire, and half of it went to phone screens.

The problem isn’t that you’re screening candidates. It’s that you’re delivering the same pitch 20 separate times.

Replace phone screens with a group presentation. Cover your company story, vision, advancement path, day-to-day expectations, income opportunity, and what ramp really looks like, including the unattractive parts.

Then only take candidates into one-on-ones who understand the full opportunity and still want in.

In our experience, this cuts recruiting workload by about half.

Start here: write down everything you repeat in every phone screen. That’s the outline for your first group presentation.
