A major rebrand is hitting Washington’s tech policy. 🛑🇺🇸

President Trump signed an executive order directing federal agencies to replace the phrase "artificial intelligence" with "Super Intelligence" (SI), arguing the term "artificial" sounds too weak against global rivals like China. Alongside the order, tech CEOs from Google, Meta, and Nvidia signed a voluntary oversight pledge.

However, critics warn cosmetic renames and voluntary agreements fail to address real AI risks as public debate flares. 📉🌐
