Good morning and happy Friyayyyyy.....for those of you who have a normal work pattern today is the second best day of the week.

Tune in for tomorrow's sleep-inducing episode of 'The ramblings of an old bat' to learn what the best day of the week is........🤣😂

To paraphrase the words of John Keats in his poem 'Autumn' - it's the season of fur and mellow mountain chic.

I went off poetry in the late 1970s when the school in Hong Kong that I went to forced me to study William Wordsworth's works as part of my 'O' Level English Literature exam course 😭😢😥

I was a strange and mixed up teenager.

Whilst my peers were listening to heavy rock, reading Roald Dahl, smoking, partying and having sex I was a lonely homesick recluse who stayed in my bedroom, listened to classical music and read books by Leo Tolstoy and Alexander Solzenitsyn 😲😳

How things have changed from fifty years ago 🥰🙃😃

It is time to head off, do my morning pre-work exercise walk around Witney town centre then head home to do battle with my digital idiot - aka ChatGPT 🤣😂

Have a lovely day!
