Tomorrow is the last day of Banned Books week, so I wanted to share my three favorite banned books with y’all.

These books changed how I see our history. "We Refuse" tells the truth about how our people fought back. "The 1619 Project" shows who really built this country, which is exactly why they don’t want our kids reading it. And every kid should read "Roll of Thunder, Hear My Cry."
