October is National Principals Month, and West Orange Public Schools is proud to recognize the dedicated leaders who make a difference in the lives of our students, staff, and families every day.

Being a principal is about so much more than running a school. It takes compassion, patience, vision, and an extraordinary commitment to creating an environment where students feel supported, teachers feel valued, and every child has the opportunity to succeed.

This month, we're shining a spotlight on the incredible individuals who lead our schools. Join us in celebrating:

- Kalisha Dorlean | Early Learning Center, Directory
- Makeida Ramchandani-Hewitt | Gregory Elementary, Principal
- Joel Castillo | Hazel Avenue Elementary, Principal
- David Marion | Kelly Elementary, Principal
- Marc J. Lawrence | Mt. Pleasant Elementary, Principal
- Kimya Jackson | Redwood Elementary, Principal
- Eric Price | St. Cloud Elementary, Principal
- Marie DeMaio | Washington Elementary, Principal
- Steven Melendez | Edison Middle School, Principal
- Xavier Fitzgerald | Liberty Middle School, Principal
- Lionel Hush | Roosevelt Middle School, Principal
- Oscar Guerrero | West Orange High School, Principal

Our principals help shape the experiences, opportunities, and sense of community that make West Orange special. Swipe through to meet these outstanding leaders, and join us in thanking them for everything they do!
