## Caption

Meet adoptable Cassie, an approximately 1 year old, 29 lb mixed breed pup who photographs like a much bigger dog but is, in fact, a perfectly petite little lady!

Cassie is full of life and love. She is playful when it is time to play, and once everyone is ready to settle in, she is very happy to curl up on the couch and snuggle. Her foster says she has been an excellent houseguest and can already tell Cassie is going to make a wonderful family member for someone.

She can be a little shy with new people at first, but give her a little time and that disappears pretty quickly. At home with the people she knows, she is comfortable, affectionate, and very much herself.

Cassie is also interested in other dogs, though she tends to take a more cautious approach when meeting them. She likes to hang back and observe at first, sometimes trotting behind another dog to get a closer look without making herself the center of attention. When she does meet dogs face-to-face, she has been submissive and polite.

Cassie is a sweet, playful, cuddly smol-ish girl who is going to be such a wonderful companion for her future family - is that you? 🩷
