NYC just doubled its artist grants to $10,000, the first increase in nearly 20 years. 🎨💸

Mayor Mamdani's administration is raising the cap as rent, groceries, and child care keep climbing while artist funding stayed flat. Filmmakers, dancers, writers, painters, collectives, and small nonprofits can apply through their borough's arts partner. Bronx applications close Oct. 30, Manhattan on Nov. 12, and Queens on Nov. 17, with Staten Island opening in November.

Know an artist in the city? Tag them so they don't miss their deadline 👇
