MORE HOMES. MORE OPPORTUNITY. MORE DETROIT.

Detroit continues to grow, and that growth means creating more quality housing choices while preserving the history that makes our neighborhoods unique.

Today, the City of Detroit and Mayor Mary Sheffield joined Olympia Development of Michigan and Cinnaire Solutions to celebrate the opening of the first phase of Henry Street Apartments in The District Detroit.

The project is transforming seven historic buildings in the Cass Park neighborhood into a mixed-income, mixed-use community, bringing new housing, restored historic spaces and connections to jobs, education, entertainment and neighborhood amenities.

With additional residential buildings under construction and expected to be completed in 2027, Henry Street Apartments is helping build a Detroit where more people can live, work, connect and rise higher.

🏙️ More housing.
🏡 Historic preservation.
🤝 More opportunity.

Detroit is growing, and we’re making sure residents can grow with it.
