Winter is when polar bears are hardest to find. The better bet is usually fall. 🍂🐻‍❄️

Once the sea ice freezes, the bears head out onto it to hunt seals and spread across a huge frozen range, far from any boat or viewing vehicle. The trips that reliably produce sightings are timed for the months when bears are either stuck on shore waiting for the ice. 🧊
