Super Bowl LIX was a story, but it didn’t happen in a day. I’ve spent my career emphasizing the importance of building and maintaining relationships, and this weekend was about just that! I attended every event (and missed a lot of parties I could have been at!🥲) and was able to work with some amazing clients and people throughout this week. Here are my takeaways and advice:

▫️Put yourself out there: You should introduce yourself and tell someone what you do/offer. No matter who it is you never know what they do or who they know. You might have some synergy you never thought about!

▫️Helping others helps you: “Social Currency” is how I explain this. Money is the mission, but collaborating and working with others can get you even farther, especially if you’re still young in your career like me. This industry is cutthroat, and we appreciate genuine connections and people.

▫️Create and grow relationships: Everyone can meet someone, but not everyone can keep someone. After you create a contact, you need to follow up and continue to foster that relationship. Check in at what events they’re going to and if you will cross paths. See if there’s something you could help them with or collaborate on.

Beyond favored this past week and off to NBA All-Star! 🫶🏼
