I have so many amazing people in my network that it really amazes me sometimes. I’ve spent years curating my support system and I am so thankful. They bring me to amazing events in @nascar @nfl @nba and so many more. Some of the most important things I’ve done and learned are:

▫️Be of value. That doesn’t always mean pay! Next time you meet a mentor, offer your services, your ear, your time, and more. You never know what someone may need help with until you ask. People appreciate people who help them authentically.

▫️Build a relationship not a transaction! Living in LA I realized how many people only care about “what can you do for me”. When you’re approached daily about serving others needs, you want someone who’s there for YOU! Relationships are the foundation of favors, friendships, and more.

▫️Observe 👀 You can learn more watching how people move than asking what you can do. We are all prideful and don’t want to ask for help. Sometimes we don’t even know what we need. Shadow a mentor or ask to help at an event!
