Kelly Clarkson says a Brooklyn toy store gave her the "Pretty Woman" treatment, and her response has racked up more than 43 million views.

Clarkson accused Art of Play of treating her as though she couldn't afford the items she wanted to buy. The store disputed her account, saying the bird at the center of the disagreement was a display piece that wasn’t for sale. The controversy has spilled into the store's online reviews.

Correspondent Kathleen Elkins breaks down how the dispute unfolded.
