CHICAGO!!!! 3:38:02 🥹❤️💙 an 8+ min PR in the HEAT!

If you've ever wondered what the scene is like at the end of a hot race for runners, swipe to the end lol

No idea how I keep ending up in 70+ degree races but I've just accepted my fate at this point lol. The good news is I was prepared for it! I learned this summer that my sweat rate is outrageous, so I trained in the heat, got comfy in the discomfort, and drank and obscene amount of fluid this race.

I also got to both fundraise for and train with my amazing american_heart team, which made my day extra special. ❤️ Thank you to my girl running_on_purpose_ for not just housing and chauffeuring me around Chicago but encouraging this whole racing lifestyle in the first place. I love having a broken brain with you!!!

So now the real question... What's next? Stay tuned 😏
