Four more medals on Day 5 in Tbilisi for the Road Scholar 2026 Veteran World Team! 🇺🇸🤺

Vet-70 Men’s Foil
🥈 John Lawrence (Masters Fencing Academy, polarisfencingcenter): his first individual Vet Worlds medal and his third overall, after team silvers in 2019 and 2024.
🥉 Henri Darricau OLY (denverfencingcenter): his second straight bronze in this event.
It’s only the second time two Americans have medaled in Vet-70 men’s foil at the same championships. The U.S. has now medaled in this event at eight straight championships.

Vet-40 Women’s Epee
🥈 Cassandra Bates (marxfencingacademy): her first Vet Worlds medal.
🥉 Lacey Biniak (nwfencing, orionfencing): her first Vet Worlds medal.
It’s the first time two Americans have medaled in any Vet-40 individual event.

That’s 18 medals in five days. Congratulations to all four, and to every member of the Road Scholar 2026 Veteran World Team who competed today! #VetWorlds
