Laurel Druke ’12 believes that leadership begins with helping others find their voice. As Vice President of Finance at North Bay Children’s Center, she oversees a $20 million budget supporting childcare and early education for more than 700 children across 14 locations, while serving also as president of the Marin Women’s Political Action Committee, through which she works to expand opportunities for women in local leadership. At Dominican, Laurel combined her interests in political science and business, finding mentors and opportunities that helped her grow as a leader and discover the power of building relationships, listening, and making space for others. Those lessons continue to shape her work today. “Dominican was the place where I deepened my identity and developed into the person I am today. I love everything Dominican stands for.” #ThisIsDUC Read more at dominican.edu/news or link in bio.
