Jeremiah Smith scares me for all the right reasons. 😭

JJ Smith just keeps piling onto what’s already one of the best receiver seasons college football’s ever seen. Through six games he’s got 48 catches, 916 yards, and 11 touchdowns, the most receiving yards and touchdowns through this point of a season in Ohio State history, and he’s now got double-digit receiving touchdowns in three straight seasons, a program first.

That production has him sitting as the overwhelming Heisman favorite at -220 odds, a number almost unheard of for a non-quarterback this early. At this pace, Smith isn’t just having a great year, he’s rewriting what people thought was even possible for a college receiver.

Is Smith building the best receiver season college football has ever seen?
