The Houston Rockets have been one of the most exciting young teams to watch over the last two seasons. But there's a piece of this puzzle that hasn't fully revealed itself yet and year three might be the season that changes everything.

Is Reed Sheppard the Houston Rockets' secret weapon?

In this video we make the full case for why Reed Sheppard's third NBA season is the one where he steps out of the background and into the spotlight as one of the most important and dangerous players on a Rockets team that is ready to take a serious leap in the Western Conference. The shooting. The off ball movement. The feel for the game. The quiet, consistent, winning plays that don't always show up in the box score but absolutely show up in the win column. Sheppard has been building toward this moment since the day he was drafted — and everything about where he is as a player right now says year three is when it all comes together.

In this breakdown we go deep on everything Sheppard has developed through his first two NBA seasons, what his game looks like when it's operating at its best, what he needs to improve upon, how he fits into the Rockets system as a genuine difference maker, and why the rest of the Western Conference should be paying very close attention to what he's capable of this season.
