Is Sean Payton taking back play calling from Davis Webb?

After four weeks of offensive struggles, the Denver Broncos are shifting to a more “collaborative approach” with Payton taking on a bigger role in game planning AND on game day.

The numbers behind the change
👉Just over 3 points per game in the first half
👉27th in yards per game
👉24th in yards per play
👉29th in rushing offense
👉Scoring fewer than 19 points per game

Webb has faced a gauntlet of good defenses in his first four weeks as a first-time play caller, so this may not be the end of his run. More to come as this story develops.
