Born and raised in Star Lake, New York, Shannon Adams played hockey in high school and spoke of leaving the Adirondacks for the big city. After college, he settled in Queens with two friends and their pet piranhas. Adams worked at Cantor Fitzgerald as a fixed-income accountant. On 9/11, he was at his office on the 101st floor of the North Tower. Adams was 25 years old. #NeverForget911 #911Museum
