## Caption

At Vanderbilt’s inaugural @longesttablecommunity events, students and alumni connected over shared meals, cultural traditions and personal experiences on Alumni Lawn in Nashville and in the Chelsea neighborhood near @vanderbilt.nyc.

From discussing Bosnian burek and Nigerian jollof to navigating career changes and finding a sense of belonging, these conversations brought the Vanderbilt community closer together.

Hosted by @vudialogue and @studentaffairsatvanderbilt, #TheLongestTable supports Vanderbilt’s commitment to open, sometimes challenging conversations grounded in civility and respect.
