Welcome to “12 Days of Showing up for myself” @nike “After Dark Marathon Countdown Edition | Day 12🩷🖤✨
.
I started this at Day 21 and then I caught the 😷 BAD for 5/6 days! This Sunday seeing everyone who participated in @chimarathon & @longbeachmarathon inspired me to pushed through my cold and run the longest miles I’ve ran since Nike After Dark last year. I ran that injured but yet I trained & pushes through. This year life has gotten in the way along with injures again so after Hood to Coast my training didn’t go as planned unfortunately 😔 Injuries plus other personal things have been a battle for so many years but I told myself I’m going to show up everyday until race day because something is better than nothing! Running has been life changing for me & I need to make time for what brings me happiness and peace! I still have mobility & if Kobe can shoot free throws with a cast I can figure out how to make time become 2% better each day either with running, weights, recovery, SOMETHING until race day. Mamba Mentality 💪🏾🖤

I’m listening to body but also not allowing my fear and don’t get in the way any longer! This is also to hold em accountable with posting my journey IN-Feed And not just stories!

So Welcome to my “Non-Negotiable series of showing up for B.E” 🩷✨ See you at Day 11 🤞🏾🫶🏽
