#repost @fac.dstinc IT’S A DIFFERENT WORLD… AND WE’RE DECODING THE BALLOT!

A different world calls for a different level of awareness, understanding, and civic engagement!

The members of the Fayetteville Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. are bringing a little Hillman College energy to voter education!

Class is officially in session, and this time we’re taking you beyond the candidates and straight to the BALLOT!

DECODE THE BALLOT: 3 NC CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENTS

Join us for an informative, nonpartisan conversation presented by the NC Budget & Tax Center, as we break down three important issues:

1) Voter ID: What it means for you.
2) State Income Tax Cap: What it could mean for North Carolinians.
3) Property Tax Limits: How proposed changes could impact your wallet.

We’re proud to partner with the NCNW Cape Fear Area Section, NCNW Fayetteville Area Section, NAACP Fayetteville Branch, and Jack and Jill of America, Inc., Fayetteville Chapter, to bring this important conversation to our community!

Because being an informed voter is about more than knowing WHO is on the ballot. It’s about understanding WHAT is on the ballot and WHY it matters!
