October is National Physical Therapy Month, so let’s talk about who we actually are.

Physical therapists aren’t just the people you see after surgery. We’re doctorate-level movement experts, and our job is to get you back to your sport stronger than before you got hurt.

I know what bad rehab looks like because I went through it.

After a major surgery in 2017, I saw three providers in a row who gave me cookie-cutter care. It kept me out of my sport 3x longer than it should have. That’s the reason I became a PT, and the reason Power in Movement exists.

Here’s what I believe:

→ Most athletes aren’t fragile. They’re underloaded and over-clinicalized.

→ Injuries rarely come from one bad rep. They happen when training load outpaces what your body can handle.

→ You shouldn’t have to choose between getting healthy and staying an athlete.

So we don’t pull you out of your sport. We work with you inside it. Whether you’re a runner, a HYROX or CrossFit athlete, a triathlete, or a lifter, we figure out why it hurts, not just where. Then we load you back up until you can handle more than you could before.

You deserve better than generic rehab, let’s get to work👩🏼‍🍳
