🚨 NO @netflix FILMING THIS WEEK! 🚨

Apparently, other magicians are currently threatening to film their show and put it on @netflixisajoke .

Which is great news for them… but potentially terrible news for you.

Because suddenly, attending a magic show comes with a whole new set of responsibilities. You can’t just laugh at a joke or gasp at a trick anymore. You have to worry about whether you’re reacting enthusiastically enough to make the final edit. God forbid you blink during the big reveal and ruin someone’s Netflix special.

Fear not. I’m here to protect you. 🫡

If you come to see Colin Cloud: Mastermind at @harrahsvegas this week, I promise you’re not being filmed.

No cameras shoved in your face. No producers asking you to “do that reaction again, but bigger.” No discovering six months later that your confused expression has become a reaction meme viewed by 40 million people.

You can simply sit back, enjoy the show, laugh, gasp, question your entire existence… and leave with your dignity intact.

(Or, at least, whatever dignity you arrived with.)

And this is Vegas, after all. There’s always a 3% chance you’re there with ‘not your wife’. The last thing you need is your face appearing in the background of a Netflix trailer while someone at home asks, “Honey, isn’t that you?

So, to be absolutely clear: NO FILMING THIS WEEK. 🎩

Come enjoy the show. Make some memories. Keep your reactions, secrets and questionable life choices off the internet.

…Next week, however, I make absolutely no promises. 👀
