Imagine getting put in time out for jumping a red light 😭

City of London Police have launched a new initiative called the 'Sin Bin', which gives cyclists caught riding through red lights the chance to watch a hard hitting road safety video instead of receiving an immediate fine.

The film highlights the dangers of ignoring traffic signals, featuring testimony from a cyclist who was hit by a bus and explaining the risks posed to blind and visually impaired pedestrians.

Police say the scheme won't replace fines entirely, with officers deciding when the educational approach is appropriate.

The initiative has sparked some hilarious reactions online so far 💀
