Crazy thing to put yourself through 😭

Matthew McConaughey has revealed that he once took 20 years' worth of negative reviews about himself into the desert to read them all.

Speaking on the Build or Break podcast, the Oscar winning actor explained that he collected the reviews into one huge book and spent two days going through every single one.

He said the experience helped him distinguish between critics who simply disliked him and those offering genuine, constructive criticism that he could learn from.

Rather than ignoring the negativity, McConaughey wanted to understand where he could improve as an actor and which opinions weren't worth taking to heart.

That's one way to deal with the haters 👏
