The National Weather Service issued an #extremeheat warning for inland Orange County until 8 p.m. Thursday. 

The warning comes as temperatures soar across the region, with inland Orange County weather stations reporting triple digit temperatures. 

Many cities won’t feel the overnight relief that is often needed to cool down the human body as overnight low temperatures are expected to be in the high 70s. 

The NWS says heat-related illnesses will likely increase and reminds the public to remain indoors and drink plenty of water. 

Many OC cities are offering cooling centers to residents who need an escape from the heat.
