The reason you keep ending up in the same type of relationships is that you've been conditioned to believe toxicity is normal.

And a lot of the time, that conditioning starts in childhood.

If you find yourself in a cycle of passionate, intense connection, followed by explosive arguments, followed by passionate makeup sex, only to repeat the same cycle over and over again, you need to understand something.

That isn't love. That's a destructive cycle.

And if it escalates into threats, violence, or abuse, it can end with someone in the hospital, someone in jail, or both.

Why does this happen?

Because we tend to recreate what we know.

If you grew up with toxic parents who fought constantly, manipulated each other, or made you feel like love had to be earned through suffering, you might unconsciously recreate those same dynamics in your adult relationships.

Not because you want to be miserable, but because your nervous system has learned to associate that chaos with connection.

So when you finally meet someone who's emotionally stable, consistent, and treats you with respect, it might feel boring or unfamiliar.

You might even convince yourself that something is missing.

But here's what you need to understand.

Just because something feels familiar doesn't mean it's good for you.

And just because you're used to chaos doesn't mean you need to spend the rest of your life living in it.

Sometimes, the healthiest relationship you'll ever experience is the one that challenges everything you thought love was supposed to feel like.

Stop confusing emotional intensity with genuine intimacy.

And stop mistaking chaos for chemistry.
