Multimedia digital artist serotinesart’s (Serotines) celestial, iridescent post-human characters exist beyond the rules and expectations of “real life.” ⁣

“Part of digital art’s power is that it’s not constrained by things like physical space or materials. You can create anything, fuse different mediums together, find endless inspiration. ⁣
 ⁣
I switched from primarily 2D to 3D art. I found a drawing forum that had free digital art programs. Before that, I had uploaded my marker and pen drawings. After I tried digital art, I was hooked and started using a drawing tablet. I don’t know how to code yet, but I know how to model things and animate, so that’s my solution. ⁣
 ⁣
I usually start with a character design, and then the personality comes as I create more pieces of work featuring them. I see my angel characters as alternate forms of my human characters. It could be an interpretation for the way we have real-life and online identities? The bright, super rainbow colors are also prevalent; their artificial feeling really pushes the ‘beyond this world’ theme in my art.” ⁣
