Clark Atlanta senior Morgan Gamble, 21, was killed Tuesday night when a driver going 94 mph in a 35 mph zone hit her car at Hank Aaron Drive and Glenn Street in Summerhill. Police arrested the driver at the scene and charged him with first-degree vehicular homicide.

Morgan was a Mass Media Arts senior who knew early that she wanted to produce. She worked as a student producer assistant on Netflix’s “A Different World” reboot and earned a cameo in the first episode. She was also crowned Miss Omega Psi Phi for 2025-26, and she started clubs and podcasts on campus.

CAU is offering counseling and spiritual support to students this week, in the middle of homecoming.

Rest easy, Morgan.
