Someone once told me to hold onto good memories (or a falling star) and stash them in your back pocket and save them for a rainy day.

That person was Perry Como singing to me and my mom from a CD when I was a kid. As I start to comb through my frames from Israel, I’m starting to agree with Mr. Como. Sometimes on starless nights, memories really help illuminate some darkness.
