#YungMiami is speaking out after #LisaRaye shared that she wasn’t a fan of her song “Spend Dat,” despite previously participating in the viral TikTok trend surrounding the track. If you recall in July while speaking with #CarlosKing, LisaRaye explained that she initially danced to the song without fully understanding the lyrics.

However, after practicing the dance and paying closer attention to the words, she realized the track referenced “boosting,” also known as shoplifting, and scamming. The actress made it clear that she wasn’t on board with the song’s message. _________________________
Now, Yung Miami is questioning LisaRaye’s criticism, especially considering the actress’s iconic role as Diamond in the 1998 film “The Players Club.” In an interview with morninghustleshow she said, “To say that about a song and you did a whole, you was Diamond in ‘The Players Club,’ what are we talking about?”

Despite disagreeing with LisaRaye’s take, Miami still gave the actress her flowers for her performance, acknowledging that she “did good” portraying Diamond. The rapper also recreated one of the film’s scenes in the video to “Spend Dat.”SWIPE ✍🏾#TSRStaffAS 📷:(gettyimages morninghustleshow thecarlosking_ )
