"Hyundai Commission: Tarek Atoui: Hold" is now open at Tate Modern.

Marking the 11th annual Hyundai Commission, the multisensory installation inaugurates the next decade of Hyundai Motor and Tate’s partnership through 2036.

Artist and composer Tarek Atoui transforms Tate Modern's iconic Turbine Hall into a living sonic environment. Combining sculpture, performance, music and technology, "Hyundai Commission: Tarek Atoui: Hold" invites visitors to experience sound through the whole body.

Drawing on memories of gathering places, this Hyundai Commission reimagines the Turbine Hall as a space for encounter and exchange.

Experience "Hyundai Commission: Tarek Atoui: Hold" through April 11, 2027.
