## Caption

We peeked into the famous butter-sculpting tent at the Minnesota State Fair to find out how sculptor and art teacher Gerry Kulzer makes magic from butter blocks. Fairgoers flock to the rotating refrigerated case to watch Kulzer create buttery sculptures in a day, each carved from a 90-pound brick. It's a tradition that's gone on since 1964. Yes, each finalist gets to keep their sculpture, and yes, we're jealous. If you're in search of a great butter (perhaps for creating a mini sculpture of your own?) you can find our favorites at the link in bio. #minnesota #butter #statefair #art #sculpture #mnstatefair
